Description
Urea 46 Prilled Granular Urea Fertilizer 46-0-0 Automotive Urea 57-13-6
Automotive urea, also known as diesel exhaust treatment fluid or automotive urea, is a clear, colorless liquid consisting mainly of urea and deionized water. It is a key additive in SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology and is used to reduce NOx pollution in diesel vehicle exhaust. When the sensor of the diesel car senses the presence of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust pipe, the urea tank will automatically spray a mist of automotive urea, which will have a chemical reaction with the nitrogen oxides in the SCR catalytic reaction tank, and eventually be converted into harmless nitrogen gas and water vapor for discharge.
